finals

I'm running down the field and try! hi I'm Tane and i love rugby.

My rugby team and I have lost a game this year. We made it to the finals and won. We had a really great time there.

But the day before the game I was at my dads playing on my quad on the farm. I'm quite skilled on a quad, because my dad has taught me how to keep control of the motor bike and make sure it has enough fluids in it. After I had some fun on the bike we went to town to get some food from Pizza Hut.

The next day was the rugby tournament and I was on my way there. When I got there not all my team was there yet so I practised. As i practised my dad left to get something to drink while he watches my games. When he got back it was time to start my games, we won all our games and now we are in the finals.

So far it's all tied up, two minutes to go and we have the ball. The half back passed the ball to my friend Jayden, then he passed it to me on the wing and I ran down the field and then the fall back was there and I stepped him, no one was in front of me and I tried under the post.

My team and I won the finals and we are now at the top of the charts.

Why cars have Registration Plates

A registration plate is a rectangle shaped piece of metal that has at least 6 letters and numbers on which are in black writing. The registration plate is screwed on to a car. A car is a machine that has an engine, four wheels and has a metal frame. A car is used for travelling to places faster than walking.

My first reason for having a registration plate is so the police can help you. Police can find out were your car is if they know the numbers and letters on it in the right order. In a car chase the police can call in the police station and tell them the writing on the registration plate and send more units out to go and spot the car.

My second reason is if your car has been stolen, police can track it down by satellite. The police send the registration plates details to the satellite and the satellite will send back the information the police need. The information will say were the car is in that current position. This way police will be able to find the car.

My third and final reason is to help identify your own car. Every single registration plate in the country will have a different registration plate to anyone else.

Police can use a registration plate to find stolen cars, help you find your own car, and it also helps you identify your own car.
